SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
The online literary journal, The Bucks County Review, published
quarterly, seeks the best in new writing, artwork, and photography
from around the world.
We seek all genres of writing including short stories, short
short stories, novel excerpts, memoirs, essays, novellas, book
reviews, and all experimental forms of writing. In addition,
we seek artwork, illustrations, comics, graphic stories, and
photo essays.
Work may be submitted by post, but we strongly encourage e-mail
submissions.
Literary Submissions:
- Short stories, memoirs, and essays to a maximum of 5000 words.
- Poetry to a maximum of 3 poems or 150 lines of poetry.
- Features and interviews should be proposed with a query of
no more than 300 words.
- Book reviews should be proposed with a query of no more than
300 words.
Art Submissions: Please do not send original artwork. We prefer
jpegs, but you may send photos or photocopies along with a
disk.
E-mail Submissions:
All literary e-mail submissions should be sent as a word document attachment.
Artwork may be as jpegs. We are also interested in artists’ websites.
All submissions should include a bio of no more than 50 words.

Payment: The Bucks County Review is an extension of our nonprofit
writing center, The Bucks County Center for Writers. We pay
authors with a one-year online subscription to the Bucks County
Review.
